Successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive aspects of accounting, finance, and financial reporting functions, tailored to the unique needs of a privately held company. Selected individuals will play a key role in driving financial performance, implementing effective financial controls, and providing strategic guidance to support growth objectives. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in the mortgage banking sector and possess exceptional leadership/management, analytical, and entrepreneurial skills.

The AVP/VP candidate will join a strong team providing analytical advisory services related to mortgage servicing rights. A successful candidate will be fluent with discounted cash flow modeling for complex assets and be responsible for directly engaging with and managing clients.

This position will also be responsible for conducting MSR or Whole Loan valuations, maintaining internal procedures, and providing support to colleagues and management. In addition, this individual will oversee the hiring and development of Analytics talent, including performance management and team training opportunities.

PHOENIX is looking for a Financial Analyst; the successful candidate will perform mortgage servicing portfolio modeling and analysis, communicate directly with clients during the valuation process, and manage multiple projects concurrently and seamlessly. This position is full-time from one of our Denver, CO offices.

This role will play an important part in Phoenix Capital’s transaction execution, including comparative analysis, industry research, and marketing processes. They will be responsible for supporting transaction managers, portfolio analysts, account executives, and executive management.
